Memorial cricket

KARACHI, June 2: Sixteen teams of KCCA zone III will vie for top honours in the inaugural Ian Fyfe memorial invitation 20-20 colour kit cricket tournament which begins at the KGA ground on Sunday.

An exhibition match between Saddar Town cricket club and KGA Gymkhana will mark the inauguration of the competition which will be played on league basis.

The teams have been drawn into four groups.

“A”: Karachi Gymkhana; Rangers Sports Club; Pak Independent; Tapal Cricket Club.

“B”: Aga Khan Gymkhana (colts); Mohammad Hussain; Saddar Town; Cantt Sports.

“C”: KGA Gymkhana; Karachi Club; Shaheen Gymkhana; Bright Gymkhana.

“D”: Aga Khan Gymkhana; Khatri Sports; Old Town; Mohammad Hussain (colts).
