KARACHI, Feb 7: Pakistan’s center forward Kashif Jawwad and penalty corner expert Sohail Abbas will play league hockey in Malaysia.

“We have been offered to play for BSN Bank team in the Malaysian League and it’s a great honor for us,” Jawwad told SADA.

The duo will be the first Pakistanis to feature in Malaysian League as several Pakistani players have appeared in Dutch, German and Belgian leagues.

“The league will run from March 25 and we have a three-month contract,” he said. The duo seek clearance from Pakistan Hockey Federation.—SADA
