HYDERABAD, June 2: The South Asia Partnership Pakistan has set up resource centres in three districts of Sindh for political training of workers and haris.
The centres have been set up in collaboration with the Shah, Sachal, Sami Welfare Association, Nawabshah, the Jago Development Society, Badin, and the Ghazi Social Welfare Association, Larkana.
The step is aimed at educating workers and haris to highlight various problems confronting them within the framework of the local bodies system.
Committees comprising intellectuals, lawyers, writers and hari and labour leaders have also been formed at the resource centres to endeavour for resolutions of problems.
The committees will impart training to elected representatives of the people of union councils.—Bureau
