HYDERABAD, Feb 7: The activists of the Jeay Sindh Qaumi Mahaz staged a protest demonstration outside the press club here on Thursday against the murderous attack on Ali Hassan Umrani, Tando Agha unit leader, in Matli.

Speaking at the rally, Mushtaque Khan Umrani, Shaukat Sammo and others alleged that the JSQM activists were being victimised by the outsiders and the attack on Umrani was a chain of the same conspiracy.

They demanded of the SP, Badin, and Matli administration to arrest the assailants of Ali Hassan Umrani.

They warned that if the accused were not arrested, they would retaliate.

PONAM: The president, Pakistan Oppressed Nations Movement (Ponam), Sindh chapter, and chairman, Sindh Taraqqi Pasand Party (STPP), Dr Qadir Magsi, has warned that any move to take over the possession of the Sindh University old campus and Mitha Ram Hostel will be strongly resisted.
