KARACHI: Uplift works in Baldia

KARACHI, May 24: In the execution of all development projects of Baldia Town, top priority must be given to their quality and completion in the stipulated period.

No negligence would be tolerated in the projects meant to provide facilities to public, said Baldia Town Nazim Kamran Akhtar while inspecting the ongoing work in UC-7 at Ghousia Road.

He said the projects which failed to meet public standards would be cancelled and warned that if any contractor was found using substandard material in the carpeting of roads, his payment would be stopped besides black listing his company.

TMO (Infrastructure) Waheed Lodhi, DTO (B&R) Sadiq Rajpar, DTO (Sanitation) Athar Saeed and Information Officer Rashid Mirza were also present on the occasion. —APP
