KARACHI, May 20: The Karawan-i-Pakistan in collaboration with the Saddar Town on Saturday organized a cleaning and renovation campaign at the Old Karachi Municipal Corporation Building on Saturday.

Salahuddin Haider, Adviser to the Chief Minister on Information, was the chief guest.

Normal and special students from different schools of the city including the Hoodland Grammar School, Defence Authority Public School, Foundation Public School, Scinore School for Special Children and Darus Sukoon took part in the campaign.

The adviser speaking to the students said that the renovation and preservation of old and historical buildings was a noble cause.

He urged the city government not to raze old buildings of the city and instead preserve them as they were cultural heritage of Karachi.—PPI
