Resecurity, a prominent cybersecurity company headquartered in the United States (US) and renowned for its cutting-edge threat intelligence and digital risk management solutions, has announced the opening of its newly registered office in Pakistan.

This expansion emphasises Resecurity’s promise to enhancing regional cybersecurity and supporting public and private sector partners in combating emerging digital threats in South Asia. With a population of over 241.5 million, Pakistan offers an established and rapidly growing market with a unique pool of cybersecurity talent.

The new registered branch is located in Emirates Tower in Islamabad and operates under the leadership of Sharafat Khan, the managing director of Resecurity in Pakistan. He is a recognised cybersecurity and risk management expert with extensive experience supporting national security and law enforcement initiatives in Pakistan. The company plans to establish two Security Operating Centers (SOCs) in Islamabad and Karachi to serve customers in the government and financial sectors with full compliance to local regulations.

Pakistan holds a vital strategic position in the global cybersecurity landscape. As a key partner of US in regional security, the country plays an increasingly important role in addressing cross-border cyber threats, information warfare, and digital fraud.

Resecurity’s expansion into Pakistan will focus on delivering its signature services to empower local enterprises and protect consumers from evolving security challenges. The portfolio of services includes cyber threat intelligence (CTI), identity protection, managed security services (MSS) and fraud prevention. The move aligns with Pakistan’s growing emphasis on digital transformation and cybersecurity capacity building, supporting both public and private stakeholders with world-class solutions.

“Our presence in Pakistan represents more than just growth - it’s about building trust and delivering mission-critical cybersecurity solutions where they matter most,” said Gene Yoo, the chief executive officer (CEO) of Resecurity. “Sharafat brings a rare combination of local insight and global cybersecurity expertise. Under his leadership, we’re confident in our ability to help organisations in Pakistan strengthen their defenses and stay ahead of sophisticated digital threats.”

“Resecurity has unique expertise and intelligence-driven solutions designed to protect enterprises and government agencies against emerging threats and new security challenges. Our goal is to establish unparalleled service delivery to safeguard our customers across key market verticals,” said Khan. With this expansion, Resecurity continues to broaden its global presence, strengthening cybersecurity ecosystems in key geographies across the Middle East, Asia and beyond.
