NAROWAL: Unidentified motorcyclists shot dead a woman and her son in Daska on Wednesday.

According to details, Saad Arif (22), a resident of Ahmedabad Narowal, along with his mother Rukhsana Bibi (55) was going to Daska on a motorcycle.

The duo came under fire by unidentified motorcyclists near Mondayke Stop on the Pasrur Daska Road.

As a result, the woman and her son were critically injured while the attackers escaped waving weapons after the attack.

A Rescue 1122 team arrived at the scene and provided first-aid to the injured, but they died due to a critical condition.

The bodies were shifted to the Daska THQ Hospital for postmortem.

Sialkot District Police Officer (DPO) Faisal Shahzad told Dawn that police teams would soon arrest the accused with the help of modern technology.

He said the police investigation and forensic teams had collected evidence and recorded statements of witnesses.

He said an FIR of the incident would be registered as soon as the request was received from the family of the victims.
