QUETTA: Two terrorists were killed by security forces in a heavy exchange of fire during an operation conducted in the Kolpur area of Kachhi district, the military’s media wing said on Friday.

A large quantity of arms and ammunition was also recovered from the terrorists, it added.

The Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said in a statement issued on Friday that the security forces conducted an intelligence-based operation in the general area Kolpur of Kachhi district of Balochistan, on the reported presence of terrorists belonging to India-backed proxy group Fitna al Hindustan.

During the operation, the security forces effectively engaged the Fitna al Hindustan terrorists’ location, and after an intense exchange of fire, two Indian-sponsored terrorists were sent to hell.

“Weapons and ammunition were also recovered from the killed Fitna al Hindustan terrorists, who remained actively involved in numerous Indian-sponsored terrorist activities in the area,” the ISPR statement said.

It added that the sanitisation operation is being conducted to eliminate any other terrorist found in the area, as the security forces are determined to wipe out the menace of Indian-sponsored terrorism from the country, and reaffirm the nation’s unwavering resolve to bring the perpetrators of terrorism to justice.
