DEJECTED CANDIDATES: It has been observed that the Balochistan Public Service Commission (BPSC) announces test dates for vacant positions rather randomly, often on a short notice, that leaves many deserving candidates under-prepared for the whole evaluation process. This strange practice causes considerable stress to the aspirants who may be in the middle of academic exams, professional obligations, or having some health-related issues. To make the recruitment process more transparent and manageable, the BPSC should mention tentative test schedules at the time of initial advertisement. Even an estimated timeline — such as the month or expected week — would help the candidates organise their studies and personal commitments accordingly.

THEFT OF MEDICINE: The theft of medicines and other pharmaceutical products from government hospitals is a cause of great concern. These thefts not only drain public resources, but also deprive the most vulnerable sections of society of essential medical care. The people involved in these criminal activities are earning billions. This lack of accountability indicates the possible involvement of insiders who exploit loopholes within the system. The authorities concerned should take immediate and strict action to curb this menace. Our healthcare system can only serve the public when its resources are protected and properly managed.

GHARO ROAD: The main road of Gharo has been severely affected by continuous digging, development work, and frequent political rallies or protests. As a result, vehicles often get stuck in traffic jams for hours. The provincial government should urgently construct a bypass road for Gharo so that intercity vehicles may avoid entering the city and move on using the bypass. This will reduce traffic pressure, and save the valuable time of the people.
