KARACHI: City Mayor Barrister Murtaza Wahab on Monday inaugurated the 29th chest pain unit (CPU) of the Sindh Institute of Cardiovascular Diseases (SICVD) in Gulshan-i-Hadeed.

The aim of this initiative is to expand free, life-saving emergency cardiac services across the province.

Speaking to the media, the mayor stated that the unit was a significant gift from the Sindh government to the people of Karachi.

He emphasised the government’s commitment to improving the healthcare sector and providing quality medical facilities to every citizen.
