LAHORE, May 5: Punjab Chief Minister Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi here on Friday inaugurated the third two-day Punjab Development Forum.

The purpose of holding the forum is to showcase the government’s policies and strategies, being implemented under its economic and governance reforms agenda, before the province’s international partners, donors and civil society representatives.

Organisers said the suggestions elicited on the reforms agenda would be incorporated in provincial policies.

The forum is being attended by representatives of the World Bank, Asian Development Bank, the UK’s Department for International Development, bureaucrats, representatives of major NGOs.
