The statement has been made to mark the 30th anniversary of the end of the Second World War… . … The statement said … “we pay tribute to all those who made heroic sacrifices in the struggle against Nazism, militarism, and aggression. … Yet the world has continued to be afflicted by strife and suffering. Aggression and the use of force has persisted in international relations because … justice and equity have been eroded through indifference or abuse”.
[Meanwhile as reported by news agencies from Hyderabad,] the entire Hyderabad region is in the grip of an oppressive heat wave… .
