KARACHI, May 5: The PIA Boy Scouts on Friday held a joint ceremony for certificate distribution on the occasion of ongoing five-day All Pakistan Scouts Hamdam Badge Camp and the first anniversary of PIA Cricket Academy Scout District at PIA Scouts Training Centre, Gulistan-i-Jauhar.

Addressing the ceremony, Provincial Commissioner Ghazanfar Mashkoor said that scouting was a universal movement which was playing a forceful role towards building up the character of youth throughout the country. He said that promotion of good moral values and talented leadership was included in the priorities of scout movement.

According to Syed Mahboob Qadri, 25 nominated Rover scouts from all over the country, who underwent training schedule conducted by senior lecturers of the training team, are taking part in the Hamdam Badge Camp.

Asad Afridi, Rashid Amin Dar, Sadaqat Mahmood, Usman Pasha visited the camp site and reviewed the arrangements.—APP
