SOUTH WAZIRISTAN: Several areas of the Lower South Waziristan tribal district received rain and snowfall on Saturday night.

Residents said the rain and snow fell in the hilly areas along the Pak-Afghan border, including Angoor Adda, Shakai, Khamrang, Zam China and Zindawar.

They said a cold wave swept through the region.

The residents complained about a lack of facilities in the hilly areas to their misery.

They urged the government to establish tourist points in the Pak-Afghan border areas.
