OGDCL organises Minerals Investment Forum

Oil and Gas Development Company Limited, in collaboration with the Government of Pakistan and strategic partners, is set to organise the Pakistan Minerals Investment Forum 2025 on April 8-9, 2025, at the Jinnah Convention Centre in Islamabad, as per a press release. The forum will serve as a platform for global stakeholders to explore investment opportunities in Pakistan’s emerging minerals sector and unlock the country’s vast mineral potential.

Under the patronage of the Special Investment Facilitation Council and Ministry of Energy (Petroleum Division), OGDCL is at the forefront of this event to showcase the country’s immense untapped mineral wealth. Partners for the event include Barrick, Pakistan Petroleum Limited, Government Holdings Private Limited, Pakistan Minerals Private Limited, Frontier Works Organisation, Mari Energies, and Reko Diq Mining Company.

Pakistan’s World Expo Pavilion

Faiz Ahmad, the chief executive of the Trade Development Authority of Pakistan, inaugurated the Pakistan Pavilion for World Expo 2025 Osaka, Japan, in Lahore, as per a press release. The Pavilion’s official website and social media platforms were launched, marking Pakistan’s participation in the World Expo under the theme “Universe in a Grain of Salt”.

The Expo will take place from April 13 to October 13, 2025, under the theme “Designing Future Society for Our Lives”. The event will bring together over 160 countries, international organisations and millions of visitors to address global challenges and celebrate human ingenuity.
