LAHORE: Army outclassed Wapda in both men’s and women’s finals to claim the title at the 26th National Baseball Championship.

Army defended the men’s crown with a 4-0 win over Wapda, while its woman team cruised to a 15-2 victory against to claim the title.

Wasim Akram of Army was named the best batter in the men’s event with Mohammad Zohaib earning the best pitcher honour.

In the women’s category, Wapda’s Gul Feroza was recognised as the best batter, while Army’s Sadia Bibi was awarded best pitcher.
