LAHORE: The Pakistan Strike Force training camp started here at the National Cricket Academy on Tuesday.
The camp is aimed at improving the players’ skill set in hard-hitting batting required in modern-day cricket.
The Strike Force programme will continue throughout the year during which elite and emerging players will be invited to the camps.
Former Test all-rounder Abdul Razzaq is the head coach for this camp. He will be assisted by ex-Test cricketer Humayun Farhat and former first-class player Kamran Sajid at the camp.
Haider Ali, Jahandad Khan, Khushdil Shah, Abbas Afridi, Mubasir Khan, Irfan Khan Niazi and Usman Khan are the seven Pakistan-capped players who are part of this camp.
The second leg of the Lahore camp, which ends on Jan 30, will take place at the Multan Cricket Stadium in Multan from Feb 1 to 28.
