KARACHI, April 15: The examination department of the University of Karachi on Saturday finalized the dates for MBBS (final professional) and BSC physiotherapy annual exams, which could not be held due to the closure of the varsity from April 12 to 14.

Talking to Dawn, the KU controller of examination, Syed Anwar Zaidi, said that as per the revised programme, theory exams of MBBS scheduled for April 12 and 14 will now be held on April 24 and 26 respectively.

The paper of physiotherapy examinations which could not be conducted on April 11 and 13 will now be held on April 22 and 25 respectively, he added.

Meanwhile, the KU has extended the date for submission of applications for admissions to MPhil, PhD, MS and MD programmes for the first intake from April 15 to 30, APP adds.

This was announced by a KU spokesman on Saturday. He said that the extension had been made with the approval of the KU vice-chancellor.
