SOME of my friends are quite jubilant, convinced that within days president-elect Donald Trump will get all Adiala Jail prisoners freed. Then he will force the government in Islamabad to resign after admitting that the general elections were rigged. After that, Trump will gift a hundred billion dollars to Pakistan, which will result in massive tax cuts, leading to prices of all essential commodities going down all the way to the level of 1947. All this will happen because, as everyone knows, the president of the United States has nothing else to do.
