INVEST WISELY: There are a good number of high-yield listed companies on stock exchanges. These companies pay lucrative payouts and bonuses to their shareholders. A proper investing strategy must be about earning a healthy return or profits in the shape of payouts and dividends, which the stock market listed companies pay quarterly, half-yearly and even annually. This is the safest way of investing in the shares market, and one must avoid going for day trading. Many day traders give in to the fear of missing out (FOMO) and run for FOMO stocks. This approach usually ends in a big loss. It is better to invest in safe and sound companies having solid balance sheets.

SEPARATION IN HINDUISM: In Hinduism, if a man wants separation from his wife, he is liable to pay a certain amo-unt to her. On the contrary, if a woman seeks separation, the man is not liable to pay anything. Indeed, courts in Pakistan generally favour women. However, they must listen to both the parties and make a fair, unbiased judgment. The relevant minister must take up the matter in par-liament to ensure this much. It is not hard to understand that a man is not always wrong, and a woman is not always right.

BAN ON HEAVY TRAFFIC: All major roads in Karachi, including Sharea Faisal as well as University Road, always witness severe traffic congestion during office hours. The traffic load during peak hours has become a rather serious problem, causing frequent accidents and high fuel consumption. There is an immediate need to impose a ban on heavy traffic from 7am to 9am and from 5pm to 7pm. No doubt, this ban has a proven record of easing the traffic flow in the past and it will yield similar results if implemented effectively. The authorities should reconsider imposing the restr-iction again as it will minimise the chances of accidents, save fuel, and reduce costs, whcih would be beneficial to commuters across the metropolis.
