LAHORE, April 5: Three goals by Ali Malik and Taimur Mawaz Khan helped United Solutions beat Guard Filters/Garden Gas 9 1/2-4 in the Sardar Abdul Samad Polo cup on Wednesday. The winners had half goal handicap and were 2-1 1/2 down in the first chukker. Ali Malik scored his first. But the losers scored through Ahmed Zubair and Taimur Ali Malik.

The losers held on to the lead 3- 2 1/2 in the second chukker too, as Ahmed Zubair scored a goal for them while Taimur opened his account for the winners.

United Solutions were formidable from the third chukker scoring seven goals in the remaining two chukkers while conceding one.

Taimur and Ali Malik added two more goals while Raja Samiullah (2) and Amir Shahid (1) were the other scorers.

Atif Tiwana scored a goal for the losers in the fourth chukker.
