TIMERGARA, April 5: Provincial Minister for Health Inayatullah Khan has said that the MMA government is committed to providing basic healthcare facilities to people of remote areas. He was speaking at a ceremony held on the occasion of upgradation of Basic Health Unit (BHU) Bebyawar in Upper Dir district on Wednesday. The project would cost Rs20 million.
The minister said that the government had completed a record number of development projects during its four year tenure. The rural health centre in Talash had been upgraded to category B, the Tehsil Headquarters Hospital Samarbagh to category A and the DHQ hospital Timergara to category A, he said, adding that the provincial government wanted to reduce burden on big hospitals.
