NAUSHAHRO FEROZE, Feb 4: Six dacoits were arrested for looting the Mehran Tracking petrol pump on the National Highway, near Moro, Naushahro Feroze District, on late Sunday night.

The dacoits arrived at the petrol pump in a car (LXW-8778). Two got out of the car and pointed a pistol at its cashier. They then looted Rs49,000 from him and fled immediately.

The cashier and the manager of the pump, Haji Ghulam Sarwar Soomro, informed the police about the incident.

The SHO, Moro, and the in charge investigation cell, Moro, started pursuing the dacoits.

There was a traffic jam at Qazi Ahmed due to an accident, so the police succeeded in arresting the dacoits.

ONE KILLED: A man, Khameesro Khan Majeedano (40), was killed and four people including two women were injured in an accident, near the Karim petrol pump, Naushaharo Feroze, on late Sunday night.

All the injured were taken to the Civil Hospital Naushahro Feroze.

ACCIDENT: A boy died after being hit by a car at the National Highway near Sadhoja the other day.

Dilshad, 10, son of Gulab Bhatti, resident of village Abra, was waiting for a bus with his parents at Kerca Mori near Sadhoja on the highway when a car (KYC-4530) hit him as a result he sustained seriously injuries.

Driver Mohib Ali Lakho brought the injured and his parents to the civil hospital here where the boy died after half an hour.

His body was taken by his parents to Abra. No FIR was lodged as the parents of the deceased and the driver settled the matter amicably.

ROBBED: Four unidentified armed men looted a coach on Morath bus stop at Tharushah-Kandiaro road the other day.

The robbers stopped the coach, which was going to Sukkur from Hyderabad, and looted about 50,000 rupees from some passengers.

No any FIR was registered.
