PESHAWAR: Local police registered a case against a suspect for allegedly sending coffins to owner of a commercial plaza in the provincial capital on Thursday.
According to details of an FIR, registered with police station Faqirabad, complainant Ghulam Qadir, a resident of Ashrafia Road, informed police that one Israr, a resident of Gulberg, came to his office and opened fire at him three days ago. He further alleged that he had been receiving threat calls for paying Rs20 million to unknown caller or face the dire consequences.
The complainant further said that on July 31, he was present at his office when the suspect sent him a delivery of two coffins by a rickshaw. Police started further investigation into allegations.
