LAHORE, Feb 4: The Committee for Revival of Sick Industrial Units decided to revive three more industries out of 11 units whose cases were considered at its 28th meeting held at the regional headquarters of National Bank of Pakistan here on Monday.
The units revived by the committee were Al-Ahmed Textile Mill, Kashmir Neelam Mills, and Pakistan Chrome Mines. The three units revived by the committee are defaulters of Habib Bank Ltd, Industrial Development Bank of Pakistan and National Bank of Pakistan, respectively.
The meeting was presided over by its chairman Tariq Hamid, and was attended by PICIC managing director Muhammad Ali Khoja, ICP- NIT chairman Tariq Iqbal, and senior officials of HBL, IDBP, United Bank Ltd, Allied Bank Ltd, NBP, and the defunct National Development Finance Corporation.
With the revival of the three more units, the number of industries rehabilitated by the committee moves up to 122.
