LAHORE: The Pakistan People’s Party has decided to celebrate 69th birthday of President Asif Ali Zardari on July 26 as the `President Pakistan’s Day.’

PPP ticket-holder Faisal Mir is organizing a colourful ceremony on the night of July 25 at Minar-e-Pakistan lawns and a formal application to seek permission for the event has been submitted with the authorities concerned.

Former prime minister and Central Punjab PPP chief Raja Parvez Ashraf will participate in the event as a special guest. Singers Nimra Mehra and Sahir Ali Baga will enthrall the audience on the occasion.
