DADU: A man died after he came under the wheels of a train in Bihar Colony, Kotri SITE, late on Thursday night.

Eyewitnesses said that Amir, 27, was loitering on the railway track with earphones in his ears when he was hit by the Zakaria Express coming from Karachi. Apparently, he was so engrossed in whatever he was listening to that he could not notice the coming train, they said.

They said the train severed both of his legs but he was still alive when he was brought to Kotri district headquarters hospital and died soon afterwards.

Kotri SITE SHO Khair Mohammad Mallah said that Amir worked as a labourer in a factory in SITE area.
