The exhibition is aimed at supporting and uplifting artisan entrepreneurs from Tharparkar, Nasarpur, Hala, Bhitshah, Tando Mohammad Khan, Hyderabad and upper Sindh as well as providing them a platform to showcase their products and potential for international exposure, said a TDAP press release.

The participants showcased their products at 50 stalls. This was to be noted that TDAP extended the opportunity of showcasing products to students of SABS university’s department of Textile & Fashion Designing and Sindh University’s department Fine Arts, Sculpture Arts and Paintings.

They were invited to participate and translate their knowledge and skills into practical work by collaborating with handicrafts artisans of Sindh by providing them training of colour selection, dress designing and insights on latest trends in demand in foreign markets.

This provided them an authentic platform of TDAP to show their talent and quality work to buyers from big brands of Pakistan and connecting them with foreign missions to get knowledge of export supply chain management and start their own medium enterprise.

TDAP Chief Executive Zubair Motiwala ook personal interest in organising the exhibition, the press release said.
