3 of a family electrocuted

SUKKUR, March 18: Three of a family were electrocuted when a live high intensity wire fell on them in Gaheno Phulpoto village near Khairpur on Saturday. Reports said Abdul Majeed Phulpoto, Ghulam Rasool Phulpoto and Allah Bux Phulpoto were walking on a road when the 11000 kw live wire fell over their heads and killed them within seconds.

Two shot dead: Unknown assailants gunned down two of a family in Allah Abad in the jurisdiction of Stuart Ganj police station here on Friday.

Reports said Khuda Bux Ghunio and his nephew Din Mohammad were at their shop, when three unidentified armed men on motorcyclists riddled them with bullets and escaped.

The brother of the deceased Mohammad Usman registered an IFR at Stuart Ganj police station. He told the police his brother had no enemies.

JSQM vice-chairman Syed Mujtaba Shah stated this while talking to newsmen in Ghotki on Friday.
