DADU, March 12: Journalists of Dadu and Jamshoro districts, at a meeting held here on Sunday, decided to hold a convention in Dadu on March 19 to discuss problems faced by them in carrying out their professional duty.

The meeting alleged that journalists were being threatened by feudal lords for highlighting people’s problems.

The meeting appealed to President Pervez Musharraf, Prime Minister Shaukat Aziz and the Chief Justice of Pakistan to take notice of the situation.

A committee was formed to unite journalists to face the challenge.
