HYDERABAD, Oct 16: The central convener of Jamiat Tulaba-i- Islam (F) Syed Izzatullah Shah Bukhari has said that the JTI workers were ready to sacrifice their lives for Islam under the prevailing circumstances.

He was speaking at a press conference here on Tuesday.

Answering a question whether his student organisation was taking practical part in support of the Taliban, he said that the JTI workers were extending logistic support to them and staging protest demonstrations was also a part of Jihad.

He disclosed that many volunteers of JTI had already left for Afghanistan to take part in the Jihad.

Bukhari said that the organisation had received orders from the JUI leadership not to spare any American if they were found anywhere in Pakistan.

Answering another question whether the JTI workers imparted military training, he said that for this purpose there was separate wing and added that Ansarul Islam was running the training camps.

The others who were present at the press conference included provincial convener of JTI Hafiz Abdus Salam Memon, general secretary Abdul Latif Brohi and joint secretary Abdul Qayoom Memon.

SU: The controller of examinations, University of Sindh, has announced the results of MSc (final) Physiology semester examination 2000, BSc (hons) part-III Physiology semester examination 2000 and BCom (hons) Part-III semester examination 2000-2001.

BISE: The controller of examination, Board of Intermediate and Secondary Examination, Hyderabad, has announced that the candidates who had first time appeared in class XI examination in 1998 and were later allowed to appear in the 12 papers of class XI and XII at HSC annual examination 2001, are also allowed to appear at ensuing HSC supplementary 2001 in the remaining/failure papers.

The controller stressed that this would be the last chance for them to qualify the examination in parts.
