LAHORE, Feb 26: Two more matches were decided in the 8th Inter-city Seniors cricket cup on Sunday. A fine century by former Test player Naveed Anjum and half-century by Manzoor Ellahi helped Lahore Whites beat Gujranwala by 151 runs at the Racecourse ground.

Naveed struck 145 with four sixes and 21 fours while Manzoor cracked 64 and Ameer Akbar 50 as Whites scored 354-5.

Ashraf Ali unbeaten 48 and Pervez Shah 34 were the other scorers.

In reply, Iqbal Zahoor and Ghaffar Kazmi snapped up three and two wickets, as Gujranwala could make 194 for nine wickets.

Only Arshad Warriach (54) and Abdul Latif (52) were the main contributors. Lahore Reds defeated Kasur by 14 runs at the Model Town Ground.

Batting first, Lahore scored 237-6 in 30 overs with main scorer was Dastgir Butt (50). Kasur were all out for 223 with Mazhar Ali being the top scorer with 62.
