U-19 winners return today

KARACHI, Feb 20: The victorious Pakistan cricket team, which retained its ICC Under-19 World Cup title in Colombo on Sunday, will be returning home on Tuesday at 11.00pm.

Led by Karachi wicket-keeper/batsman Sarfraz Ahmed, Pakistan defeated India by 38 runs in the final to become the first team to successfully defend their title. Shaharyar M. Khan, chairman of the Pakistan Cricket Board, is holding a reception to honour of the world champions and is likely to announce cash incentives and other awards. Karachi paceman Anwar Ali snapped up five wickets for 35 runs to play a crucial role in the low-scoring final.—APP
