TOBA TEK SINGH: The Faisalabad Anti-Narcotic Force seized ice heroin from a man at Faisalabad airport on Sunday. An ANF official stated that when they searched the luggage of Muhammad Afzal from Sargodha, they discovered five kilograms of ice heroin hidden in towels and underwear. The ANF arrested the man.

Also, the Motorway police recovered 150 kilograms of hashish and opium on M-2 near Sial Morr from a car. The police said that when patrolling officials stopped a suspicious car, the occupants sped away and, when pursued, abandoned the car and fled. Sector commander Ghulam Qadir Sindhu handed over the narcotics and impounded car to the ANF.

ACCIDENT: A motorcyclist died, and another was injured after their motorcycles collided head-on at Faisalabad near Muhammadwala Stop on Jaranwala Road on Sunday.

Both were shifted to the DHQ hospital, where Danish Faqir of Chak 205 RB succumbed to his injuries. Also, two labourers were critically injured after an under-construction room collapsed in Faisalabad’s Chak 109 RB. Rescue 1122 shifted them to the DHQ hospital. They were identified as Sabir Ali and Muhammad Waris.

LUCKY DRAW: The Faisalabad District Bar Association will fund 10 lawyers’ Umra and as many’s ‘ziaraat-muqaddsa’ tours from its funds. After balloting on Sunday, district and sessions judge Javedul Hassan Chishti, additional district and sessions judges Rai Mansab Ali Khan and Haider Ali Arif, and DBA president Rana Shahid Munir Manj announced the names of the lucky lawyers.

ASSAULT: A young man allegedly raped his minor relative girl in Gojra on Sunday. The complainant said in his FIR, registered by Gojra Sadar police, that he and his other family members were on their farmland when the suspect scaled the outer wall of his house and raped his daughter who was alone. The police were conducting raids to arrest the suspect.
