Veteran returns to PPP

FAISALABAD, Feb 8: Former PPP MPA Nawab Sher Waseer again joined the party and announced that he would take part in the political activities from the platform of opposition.

Nawab Sher, twice elected MPA on PPP ticket, left the party during the last general elections. His son, Raza Shahid Waseer, contested for the MPA seat on the ruling PML ticket during 2001 elections but lost at the hands of the PPP candidate. Nawab Sher told journalists on Wednesday that he would take part in all PPP activities and formally joined the party after bidding farewell to the ruling PML.
