LAHORE, Feb 8: Religious parties have decided to observe a countrywide protest day on Friday (tomorrow) against the publication of blasphemous cartoons.
The religious parties’ activists will stage protest demonstrations in front of major mosques and present resolutions to condemn the publication of blasphemous caricatures of Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH) in Denmark, Norway and France.
According to a news release issued here on Wednesday, the religious and political parties’ leaders will address the participants. In Lahore, major demonstrations will be held in front of Lahore Press Club and Data Darbar Chowk to condemn ‘religious terrorism’ by European countries.
