[According to news agencies from Nellore (in present-day Andhra Pradesh)] After more than 72 hours of the cease-fire order by the Nizam of Hyderabad on Sept 17, resistance at Aswaraopet, headquarters of Palwancha taluk of Warrangal District, still continues, according to a frontline dispatch received here. Aswaraopet is just two miles from the Indian Union border of west Godavari District and is being held by a strong force of Razakars and Hyderabad troops.
