NAROWAL: Police could not find clue to the suspect(s) who allegedly killed an 11-year-old boy 10 days back at Langy village, Pasrur tehsil.

Labourer Shafiullah, a resident of Langy, told the police his 11-year-old son Zahid Ali went to fields to collect fodder on May 20 but did not return home.

He said Badiana police registered a kidnap case on his complaint. He said on May 31, he found dismembered body of his son, his clothes and shoes in fields two kilometers away from the village. He said he did not have enmity with anyone. He has appealed to the prime minister to look into the matter.

When contacted district police spokesman Khurram Shehzad said DPO Mohammad Hasan Iqbal had immediately removed SHO Inspector Mohammad Nawaz over incompetence.

He said police were trying their utmost to trace the suspect(s).
