Administrative shake-up in Punjab

LAHORE, Jan 24: The Punjab government transferred and posted some senior officials here on Tuesday. OSD DIG Javed Noor was posted as commandant of Punjab Constabulary, Farooqabad, against a vacant post. On placement of his services on deputation at the disposal of Punjab by the Ministry of Defence, Brig Ghulam Farooq Yaqub was posted as additional director (Monitoring and Inspections) Project Management Unit, Police Patrolling Posts, Home Department, against a newly created post.

Faisalabad DCO Athar Hussain Khan Sial was transferred and directed to report to the S&GAD for further orders.

He was replaced by OSD Maj Azam Suleman Khan (retired).

Punjab Wildlife and Parks Director-General Capt Iftikhar Ahmad (retired) was transferred and posted as special secretary, Finance Department, against a vacant post.

He was replaced by Punjab Excise and Taxation Director General Shamail Ahmad.

Punjab Employees Social Security Institution Vice-Commissioner Muhammad Jalal Sikandar Sultan was transferred to replace Mr Shamail Ahmad.

Hafizabad EDO (Finance and Planning) Maqsood Ahmad Chaudhry was transferred and posted as director, Directorate General of Social Welfare, Punjab, against a vacant post.

Lahore Ravi Town DDO (Registration) Aon Abbas Bukhari was transferred and directed to report to the S&GAD. He was replaced by Amir Ali Chishty who was awaiting posting.
