KARACHI: The body of a man, who had gone missing a couple of days ago, was found stuffed in a sack in Surjani Town on Sunday, police said.

They said that the body, which bore marks of torture, was recovered from bushes near Kaneez Fatima Society. It appeared that the body had lain there for two to three days, the police said.

Area SHO Ghanwar Mahar said the victim, identified as Syed Zafar Zaidi, 55, lived in Federal B. Area and his relatives told the police that he had been missing for some days. However, they did not lodge a missing report, he added.

Meanwhile, the body of a watchman was found from a plot on Sharea Faisal. He was identified as Ghulam Sarwar, 55. The police said he was bludgeoned to death.
