LOWER DIR: A youth man and a young woman were killed here on Thursday in an honour-related case in Mian Banda in the jurisdiction of Timergara police station.
Police and residents said the deceased woman belonged to Maidan while the man was from Jandol. The Timergara police shifted the bodies to the DHQ Hospital Timergara for autopsy, registered a case and started further investigations.
The police meanwhile claimed to have arrested the attacker identified as Naseer, a resident of Lal Qila Maidan and recovered the weapon used in the crime from his possession.
The deceased couple is stated to be related to each other.
