LGS announces U-14 football squad

LAHORE, Jan 18: Lahore Grammar School (LGS) for Boys announced a 20-member squad to make their maiden appearance in National under-14 football festival to be held in Lahore on Feb 1-7.

The competition is being organized by the Pakistan Football Federation (PFF) to form two Pakistani U-14 teams to take part in the AFC Festival to be held in Islamabad in April. Rehan Azhar Munir will lead the team.

Squad: Rehan Azhar Munir (captain), Ahmed Murad,Saffan Qadri, Shahab Ahmed, Taimur Ahmed, Abdul Rafey, Abuzar Farrukh, Ahmed Sohail, Hamza Shakil, Haris Zubair, Ahmed Sharooz, Saad Manzoor, Saad bin Dilshad, Farhan Zahid, Talha Ejaz, Hamza Shahid, Muhammad Auzair, Haris Haroon, Fahad Manzoor and Ahsan Riaz. Besides two teams from Pakistan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Bhutan and Nepal are other participating countries of the AFC tournament.
