LAHORE: The National Database Registration Authority (Nadra) has launched a mobile van service to facilitate transgender persons.

At a ceremony held in connection with human rights here on Friday, Nadra Lahore Director General Syed Saqlain Abbas Bokhari said the authority had expedited the registration of transgender persons enabling them to have opportunities like any other citizen.

The DG said in addition to their registration at the centres, the mobile van service with the help of different government departments and NGOs had been launched to facilitate the transgender persons.
