Two held with 16kg charas

HUB, Jan 31: The Hub police on Thursday claimed to have arrested two drug smugglers and seized a huge quantity of narcotics in Allahabad Town.

On a tip-off, a police team, headed by DSP Basheer Jawed and SHO Amir Abdullah, raided a house and arrested two alleged drug peddlers. During search, 16kg charas, hidden in the courtyard of the house, was seized.

Those arrested were identified as Ibraheem and Shamim. They were said to be brothers.

The police said they had been smuggling drugs from Turbat.
