PESHAWAR: The Federal Investigation Agency on Wednesday arrested an Afghan national at the Bacha Khan International Airport for allegedly travelling on forged documents.

According to officials, Subhanullah was travelling from Peshawar to Jeddah via Saudi Airline’s flight SV-797. They said on suspicion, his documents were checked, which turned out to be fake.

An official said the accused was handed over to the FIA’s anti-human trafficking wing, and a case was registered against him.

Meanwhile, FIA’s commercial banking circle arrested a man for his alleged involvement in Hundi Hawala business.

“Mohammad Abrar was arrested during a raid in Chowk Yadgar area,” an FIA official said, adding Rs2.6 million cash, besides receipts used for Hundi Hawala were recovered from him.
