KOHAT: A man was shot dead by rivals here on Sunday, the police and rescue officials said.

They said that Ansar, 35, was killed by rivals in Laal Mela area of Muhammadzai. The body was shifted to the KDA hospital for autopsy, they added.

The family got registered an FIR against unidentified people, saying they had no enmity with anyone, the police said, adding that the deceased hailed from Behzadi Chakar Kot area.

Meanwhile, a woman, identified as Noor Bibi, fell into a well in Ghamkol Afghan Refugee Camp No 3 while fetching water. She was rescued and hospitalised.
