ISLAMABAD: The Woodrow Wilson International Center for Scholars on Thursday announced the selection of Dawn’s Foreign Affairs and National Security Correspondent Syed Baqir Sajjad as its Pakistan Fellow for the year 2023.

Mr Sajjad will be at Wilson Center in Washington for a period of nine months, starting from February, during which he will carry out a study on his project, titled “Navigating US-China Competition: Options for Pakistan.”

“We are delighted to welcome Mr Sajjad to the Wilson Center, where his research promises to make a major contribution to study of the Pakistan factor in US-China competition,” said Wilson Center President and CEO Ambassador Mark Andrew Green in a statement.

The Wilson Center Pakistan Fellowship, housed within the Asia Programme and South Asia Institute, is a core component of the Wilson Center Pakistan Initiative.
