BAHAWALNAGAR: Four women and two children of a family died while two others suffered critical injuries on Sunday after their car rammed into a roadside tree allegedly due to speeding near Farid Kot in Chishtian tehsil.

According to Rescue 1122 officials, on being informed the incident occurring on Gajyani Road, a team of emergency service reached the scene and shifted the dead bodies and the injured persons to the Chishtian Tehsil Headquarters Hospital.

They said the car carrying members of the same family rammed into a tree due to speeding, resulting in the deaths of Taslemm Bibi (22), Faizan Bibi (17), Naveed Bibi (15), three-year-old Abdul Rahman and six-month-old Usman Ali, on the spot.

The injured include Waheed (22), Sidra (20) and Ambreen (18), who were shifted to the THQ hospital in critical condition, where Sidra also succumbed to her injuries.
