Master Paints clinch thriller

LAHORE: Raja Temur Nadeem inspired Master Paints to an epic comeback victory against Platinum Homes/Master Paints in the third LSC Allama Iqbal Polo Tournament here at the Jinnah Polo Fields on Wednesday.

Master Paints were trailing 8-2 when the second chukker ended but Temur’s six goals and Shah Qubilai Alam hat-trick helped the team dominate the last two chukkers and register a thrilling 10-9 win.

From the losing side, Amirreza Behboudi scored five goals while Sufi Muhammad Haroon and Agha Musa Ali Khan recorded a brace each.

Meanwhile, SQ Seagold won the other other match of the day as they beat 4-Corps 7-5. Raja Jalal Arslan scored a quartet for SQ Seagold while team-mates Asjad Malhi and Bilal Hayat Noon also contributed with two and one goal, respectively.

Raja Mikael Sami was the top scorer for the losing side with a hat-trick while the remaining two were converted by Ibrahim Khalil.
